A warm welcome awaits you at the Durdans, an imposing Victorian house sitting in grounds of over two acres, and located on the edge of the picturesque seaside village of Mundesley. Set on the North Norfolk heritage coast some 7 miles south of Cromer the village is also on the edge of a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The house, reached by a tree-lined drive, sits back from the road in a quiet and peaceful setting. To the rear the lawns slope down to Mundesley Beck flowing along the northern edge of the gardens with views over open fields and the village golf club. Andrew and Caroline have recently refurbished the property with all bedrooms, ensuites and public rooms recently decorated and bedrooms newly furnished. The large entrance hall is light and airy with open galleried landings above. Off the hall is the dining room where breakfast is served and next door is the large and relaxing guest sitting room. Both rooms have long picture windows with views to the west over the sunken lawn. Start the day with a substantial and hearty Norfolk cooked breakfast with free-range eggs and other locally-produced ingredients all bought from the village shops. For those who prefer something lighter the selection includes croissants, fresh fruits and yoghurts. 
If you are looking for a relaxed and friendly B&B - somewhere where you can relax, unwind and de-stress following a day exploring Norfolk and all it has to offer - then The Vines, a 15th century Grade 2 listed hall house is the ideal place for you! Relax after your journey with a cup of tea or coffee in your room whilst planning your stay with local guidebooks and maps. The Grange is a large Edwardian gentleman’s residence set in a Conservation Area on the outskirts of Mundesley. Mundesley retains the air of an old fashioned coastal village and is unspoilt and quiet. The Grange is within easy walking distance of the village which has a full range of facilities. Walk a little further to magnificent beaches which are clean and rarely crowded. Mundesley provides a superb base for exploring the North Norfolk Coast and countryside with sleepy villages and wide open skies. The region is noted for its bird watching and wildlife. The Norfolk Broads are closeby and access to Norwich is simple and about thirty minutes drive. The shopping and culture facilities in Norwich are outstanding.
